Guess what Made In Heaven director Zoya Akhtar finds heavenly in her life

Zoya Akhtar, who is riding high on the success of her recent release Gully Boy, has ventured into the digital space as well. After impressing us with a Lust Story, the talented director is now set to entertain us with a satirical drama on modern Indian weddings. Zoya along with a team of many other skilled directors including Nitya Mehra, Alankrita Shrivastava, and Prashant Nair has directed the show and will showcase it to the audience tomorrow (March 8). Ahead of its release, the director arrived at the promotional event held in Mumbai and answered a few questions from the media.

On being asked what all things she finds heavenly in her life, Zoya had a fun answer for it. The 46-year-old was in a rather good mood and said not answering such questions is heavenly. Apart from this, playing with puppies is heavenly and having chocolate cake is heavenly for Zoya. Well, isn’t it heavenly for all of us? She even shared her opinion on OTT platforms vs theatre releases and revealed the reason behind making a web show around the concept of weddings and a lot more.For those of you who don’t know, Made In Heaven has been created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. Starring Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Arjun Mathur, Shashank Arora, Pulkit Samrat, Shweta Tripathi, Amrita Puri, Manjot Singh, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Shobita Dhulipala, the show is about the journey of two wedding planners and how they tackle different professional and personal problems.
