Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Gully Boy made the right kind of noise and etched a special place in the audience’s hearts. Even after two months of its release, people are still talking about the rap drama and how well executed it was by director Zoya Akhtar and her team. Well, we can all agree that the film’s impact was “Bohat Hard” and now it’s going digital.

Yes, starting today, Zoya Akhtar’s blockbuster Gully Boy is available on Amazon Prime Video. The Amazon team made the announcement saying, “Amazon Prime Video today announced the biggest Bollywood super hit of the year Gully Boy, which spread an infectious rap tempo across the country, is set to make its digital debut exclusively with Amazon Prime Video. The film, which received a standing ovation at the Berlin International Film Festival, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 16, shortly after its theatrical release.”

Siddhant Chaturvedi, who has an old connection with this digital platform, shared his excitement as well. He said, “Inside Edge was the start of my journey as an actor. The success of my debut show on Amazon Prime Video gave me the opportunity to play a powerful character called MC Sher in the Gully Boy. The film releasing on this platform is boht hard news because it almost feels like a homecoming for me.”

Gully Boy is the story of the streets, about the rap culture and a boy named Murad (Ranveer Singh) and his dream to make it big in the music industry. Produced under the banner of Ritesh Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar’s Tiger Baby Productions, the film became a smash hit at the box office.
