Gully Boy has been the talk of the town and for all the right reasons. It’s only been a week since the movie hit the theatres and the makers have just dropped another song from the hit film – Train Song and it’s been on loop ever since. For those who may have watched the film, Train Song is part of the end credits of the movie. It’s a peppy, upbeat and a feel-good track that shows the growth of Murad (Ranveer Singh) from the early days to where the movie ends with him. The song shows the other cast members in snippets from Safeena (Alia Bhatt), MC Sher (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Sky (Kalki Koechlin) through the various phases of Murad’s journey. The song summarises the movie in just two minutes and captures all the highlights from the story that have been monumental to Murad’s dream of winning the rap battle.

Train Song has been melodiously sung by Raghu Dixit and Karsh Kale. The music and lyrics are uplifting, to say the least, and it shouts out living life to the fullest. The song that comes at the end of the film with the credits is the perfect way to showcase the celebratory journey of Murad through the story and actually touches the heart. The song has been co-composed by Midivial Punditz and it has their signature sound and feels through the whole song.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar the movie has been doing phenomenally well with it already making 100 crores in its first week. While Ranveer’s heart-warming performance and his rap skills have been appreciated, the entire cast has been commended for their performances. From the screenplay to cinematography to music to performances, this movie is surely a cult movie for this generation
