Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty’s film still without a director!

We revealed to you exclusively how Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty are all set to kickstart Hera Pheri 3 in November! But why the delay? Well, looks like the film is still without a director! Yes, there have been different reports of Indra Kumar or Priyadarshan being roped in for the movie. However, CineBlitz found out that the makers are yet to finalise on a director.

As a source close to the movie revealed to us exclusively, “All the reports are false. In fact, while rumours suggest that the script is yet to be finalised, it is the opposite. The cast and script have been locked already. The makers are just finalising the director. Neeraj Vora was supposed to direct it, but his untimely death left a large void to be filled. Firoz Nadiadwala didn’t want to rush. He wants a director who can do justice to the film and hence, he is taking his time. Once the director is finalised, which will be announced pretty soon, the movie will go on floors.”

We are sure that Indra Kumar and Priyadarshan are in the running, but who will be chosen? Well, our heart is set on Indra Kumar. After Total Dhamaal‘s success and the fact that he has worked on multiple franchises, we think that he can pull off Hera Pheri 3 well. In fact, the interesting plot that sees Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty’s characters taking a time leap to the present day scenario is interesting.
