Vicky Kaushal is currently riding high on the success of his film Uri: The Surgical Strike. For the film, which is the first big blockbuster of 2019, the talented actor underwent military training and gained quite a few kilos. No wonder, Vicky managed to nail his role to perfection. And now that he has proved his mettle as an action hero, we think the Masaan star should next do a musical film like Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy. We say so because the actor is currently trending on the internet courtesy his latest dubsmash video wherein he is singing Ranveer’s song Mere Gully Mein like an absolute professional rapper with all the swag.

As soon as the video surfaced on the social media, not only his fans but even Ranveer’s fans went totally crazy. And why won’t they, right? Though the dubsmash video is hardly 10 seconds long, Vicky’s expressions are bang on while singing the song. It’s indeed an absolute delight to watch this fun side of the actor who has mostly played serious roles onscreen. Interestingly, Vicky and Ranveer will soon start working together for Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht. It’s the first film wherein the two will be seen sharing screen space together along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. In the film, the Gully Boy actor will play the role of Shahjahan’s eldest son Dara Shikoh whereas the Uri star will play the role of his younger brother Aurangzeb.

Anyway, coming back to Gully Boy, the film is slated to release on February 14 and also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead. The much-awaited Zoya Akhtar directorial venture also features Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz and Siddhant Chaturvedi in supporting roles. Currently, both Ranveer and Alia are in Berlin along with Zoya as their film is being premiered at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival.
