Himansh Kohli-starrer Yaariyan clocked eight years, and the actor says its imprint can be witnessed to date. The movie hit the big screen on 10 January 2014. “Anniversaries come year on year, but the imprint of Yaariyan can be witnessed to date. So, it’s big, even after 8 years of release. Honestly, I could have never pictured this 10-12 years ago when I started,” said the Boondi Raita actor.

He recalls the time when he reached late to the set on his first or second day of the shoot. “Divya Ma’am was super upset with me. I felt so bad about upsetting her that I immediately thought to correct myself and set alarms, asked my team to make sure my day was planned in such a way that I was on time for the shoot no matter what,” he said.

“And to date, I make it a point to always arrive on time and it has brought such a great change in my life,” he added. The film’s song, Blue Hai Paani Paani, was a rage. “It was super big and to this day people hear the music tracks from the film. I was blessed to be a part of such a marvelous debut silver screen project,” he said.

Asked if Yaariyan was remade, would he love to be part of it, he said, “Kya Yaariyan Lakshya ke bina poori ho payegi? I don’t think so. But I’d leave that decision to the team, especially Divya Khosla Kumar ma’am. Their vision is what made it this big.”

He has grown as an actor, and now he strives to bring the flavour of versatility to his profile and has been working on various projects. “My upcoming film Boondi Raita is currently on floors and I have been working on it since November. A couple of music videos in collaboration with T-Series are underway as well, one of them is releasing on 14th January 2022. It’s by T-Series and includes Jubin Nautiyal, Heli Daruwala, Payal Dev, and Gautam Gulati,” he shared.
