Hrithik Roshan congratulates ‘Super 30’ Anand Kumar on his Padma Shri win!

Indian Mathematics educator best known for his Super 30 programme, Anand Kumar was yesterday announced as a recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri. A personal and professional journey that is nothing short of inspirational, Anand Kumar’s genius and passionate drive was brought to the fore and presented to audiences across the nation in the Hrithik Roshan headlined Super 30.

Started by Anand Kumar, the program selects 30 capable students every year from poor financial backgrounds and financially oppressed areas of Indian culture and prepares them for the JEE. Actor Hrithik Roshan who portrayed Anand Kumar in his film Super 30, was among the first to congratulate the educator on his honourable win.

On several occasions the mathematics wiz was all praise for the actor and was quoted saying, “Hrithik Roshan is a great actor and a great actor can take any form, be it a homeless person, a teacher or a king and Hrithik Roshan can do any of those which made him perfect for Super 30. The way he portrayed me in the film was brilliant.”
