Just two days after his birthday, Hrithik Roshan has given his fans a return gift. His much-awaited film Super 30 finally got a release date after going through some ups and downs. And the person who announced the date is none other than Hrithik himself. Brace yourselves as your favourite actor is coming back to the big screen after two years.

Super 30 will now release on 26th July 2019. Hrithik took to Twitter to announce the new date today evening. This is the second time that the release date of the film has been changed. It was initially scheduled to release on 25th January which then changed to 5th April and now has been shifted to 26th July. The film went through a rough phase when director Vikas Bahl was called out in the #MeToo movement by an ex-employee from Phantom. The project came to a standstill for a period of time which led to its release getting delayed.

In fact, this change in release date averted a clash with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi.

It has been two years since we last saw Hrithik on the big screen in Kaabil which was a big success at the Box Office. Whereas, Vikas Bahl’s last directorial effort Shaandaar was a flop at the Box Office. Let’s see if Vikas gets credit as the director of Super 30 and the film works for everyone involved. The release is something that Hrithik is looking forward too, especially after the stressful phase he went through during his father Rakesh Roshan’s surgery and health issues.
