The film is directed by Sam Raimi and will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on May 6, 2022.

Director Sam Raimi, known for his Evil Dead and Spiderman franchises, reveals why he chose this story to direct, Well, when Kevin Feige announced that he wanted to bring a little bit of a horror element to “Doctor Strange,” that was interesting to me. I was excited that they were going to bring some horror into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love to dabble in horror.”
