Indo-American filmmaker Mukesh Modi creates history with ‘3D’ OTT content!

Indo-American acclaimed (US-based) filmmaker Mukesh Modi’s OTT platform “Indie Films World” is all set to create entertainment history as the first streaming platform to show a variety of high-class Indian content in “3D”, (minus any 3D spectacles-glasses). The 3D illusion content can be comfortably viewed on tablet screens, on hi-tech cell phones, on laptops, (using customized screensavers), and on upgraded TV screens—including his web series ‘Mission Kashi’.

Innovative visionary Mukesh Modi is also the creative force behind “The Elevator,” starring Oscar-nominated Eric Roberts and Eugenia Kuzmina which won three awards – Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor. Indo- American Filmmaker Mukesh Modi has also bagged the trophy of Bharat Gaurav Samman Award for his web series “Mission Kashi’.

Post-screening of three back-to-back episodes of the finite OTT series (total five episodes) of ‘Mission Kashi’ there was an after-hrs networking party hosted at resto-bar JLWA. The turn-out at the glitz-glam party included glam celebs stunning model-actress Smita Gondkar, Pratik Sehajpal, Vaquar Shaikh, Brinda Parekh, Prithvi Zutshi, Prashant Virender Sharma, RJ-Compere Anuraag Pandey, Hansa Singh, Madhuri Pandey, pop-singer Shibani Kashyap, Sunil Pal, director Dushyant Kapoor with model-actress Pareesha Sharma, Nivedita Basu, winsome choreographer-actress Ankkitha Maithy, Raayo S. Bakhirta & many more.

“They say, you don’t take a shot (in films) … you make a shot”- award-winning Indo-American filmmaker and the founder of “Indie Films World”, Mukesh Modi has been getting fabulous responses for the preview of his slick action-crime-political thriller web series titled ‘Mission Kashi’ directed by talented Vivek Srivastava. The cast of ‘Mission Kashi’ comprises brilliant promising actors -Yashveer Chaudhary, Sonu Chaubey, Anirudha Singh, Mamta Rai, Prithvi Zutshi, Ragini Rai, and several others which will be released on his OTT platform Indie Films World (IFW).

‘Mission Kashi’ director Vivek Srivastava has assisted ‘director’ Sunny Deol, for six years and has independently directed two (ready) projects including a character-driven rom-com movie ‘Life Biryani’ starring Pankaj Tripathi, and another web-series ‘The Red Land’– an action drama   The talented tough artiste who played the positive anti-terrorist squad chief cop Anirudha Singh, is currently a real-life DY-SP and is famous locally in Kashi as the “Varanasi ka Singham”.

‘Mission Kashi’s plot revolves around terrorist outfits supported by neighboring enemy countries who have always tried to break, terrorize and disrupt various cities in India. However, this time they have planned to blow-up certain structures in the most spiritually sacred Indian city Kashi (Varanasi). “Mission Kashi” takes the viewers on an emotional-patriotic suspense journey when religion comes between ‘true love’, and how the terrorists can manipulate the love.’

As a filmmaker who is full of ideas, Mukesh who aims to venture into unexplored realms of filmmaking by experimenting with new themes-subjects explains more about the web series Mission Kashi “I am very happy to launch Indie Films World in India with my web series Mission Kashi. Amongst giants like Netflix, Hotstar, Amazon, ZEE5, and others, Indie Films World is the first 3-D film viewing platform, it is a one-stop for world entertainment. Asked about his success mantra, Mukesh Modi says, “Although I am otherwise based in the US, my heart and soul have a sentimental-patriotic bonding with India. It is essential, that our Indian entertainment content should promote our traditional culture and heritage and should always connect with the common man which in turn will ensure maximum viewership,” observes Modi.
