IPL 2019: Preity Zinta congratulates Shah Rukh on KKR’S win over KXIP and it just proves their closeness

The IPL season is on and everyone seems to be glued to their TV screens. Well, no doubt the matches are quite nail-biting and fun to watch. Yesterday (March 27), was the first match of the season where the two good B-Town friend’s Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s teams played against each other. And the Kolkata Knight Riders emerged victorious by defeating Kings XI Punjab. Not only the fans but Preity Zinta was also bowled over by the win and she took to her social media to congratulate SRK for his team’s performance.

In her post, the actress wrote, “Congrats @iamsrk Well played KKR.  It was a massive score & we tried but it was not our day today, but tomorrow is another day so Chin up @lionsdenkxip Looking forward to our home game at Mohali and some fireworks from #SaddaSquad #SaddaPunjab #KKRvsKXIP #VIVOIPL.” Well, this is what we call good sportsmanship spirit. Isn’t it amazing to see how Preity and SRK keep don’t mix work and friendship together?

The match took place in KKR’s home ground at Eden Garden, Kolkata. SRK took to his social media to celebrate the victory, he wrote, “Aaj ki Shaam Eden Gardens ke Naam…All at KKR @Russell12A @robbieuthappa @NitishRana_27 @SunilPNarine74 @imkuldeep18 #PiyushChawla & #Lockie thank u for the noise!!.” Well, we hope KKR continues this winning streak right till the tournament ends.
