Irrfan Khan pens down an emotional message for his fans

Irrfan Khan’s fans and the industry was thrilled to learn about the actor’s return home after his year-long London stay, as he underwent treatment for the neuroendocrine tumour that he was diagnosed with. The actor had returned to India a month ago. Post that he was spotted at the Maddock office (Dinesh Vijan’s production house) confirming rumours of him doing Hindi Medium 2. The actor had always since been seen keeping his face covered. And it was yesterday (April 2) when he revealed his face at the airport. The Hindi Medium actor has now finally spoken about his journey since his illness and penned down a heartfelt message for his fans.

In his letter, he said, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”

On the professional front, Irrfan will be part of Dinesh Vijan’s film which is a sequel of Hindi Medium next. The story will progress from where it was left in the first part of the franchise. The film is reportedly titled English Medium and Radhika Madan is said to be roped in for the role of Irrfan’s daughter. Kareena Kapoor Khan name is also being associated with film but no official announcement about any of it has been made yet.
