John Abraham’s upcoming film RAW aka Romeo Akbar Walter has been getting an amazing response for its newly launched trailer. The film’s trailer was launched in Mumbai today and John Abraham’s act in the 2 minutes 40 seconds clip was impressive beyond words. But another actor who caught our attention briefly in the trailer was Jackie Shroff, however, the veteran actor was absent from the event which was quite conspicuous and has left many wondering what could be wrong. Well, we guess that there has to be a strong reason behind Jackie’s absence from the film’s trailer launch and it is most probably not a pleasant one.

It seems that the seasoned actor might be upset with the filmmakers for not showing much of his character in RAW’s trailer. The glimpses of Jackie that we caught while watching the trailer certainly left us wanting for more. By what we hear, Jackie Shroff has quite an important part to play in the film, and yet such limited screen time in the trailer. The film has been directed by Robbie Grewal and also stars Mouni Roy, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles. Romeo Akbar Walter focuses on the India-Pakistan-Bangladesh war in which intelligence agencies had quite a crucial role to play. If you haven’t seen the film’s trailer yet, watch it below:

While we have already mentioned that Jackie Shroff will be playing John Abraham’s trainer (chief of RAW) in the film, John will be seen playing a RAW agent. Sikander Kher will be seen as a cop. And going by the trailer, Mouni will be seen playing John’s love interest in the film. Not revealing too many details about her role, Mouni at the trailer launch said that her character works in a bank. The film’s trailer has surely raised expectations and while all seems good for its release on April 5, we hope that Jaggu Dada has no ill-will towards the makers. Let us know how you liked RAW’s trailer? Don’t forget to leave your comments, be it yay or nay! And stay tuned to CineBlitz for all the gossip and news from the world of Bollywood.
