Ishaan Khatter to star in Abhishek Kapoor’s Pulwama attack-based film?

After the success of  URI: The Surgical Strike, a film on the recent Pulwama attack is being made by Abhishek Kapoor. And he has approached a newbie for the same. Well if everything goes right the film will go on floors soon and here is all you need to know.

The Kedarnath director is all set to make a film based on the real story of the deadly Pulwama attack. And the news is that the director has approached the young actor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter to play a part in the film. No confirmation from Ishaan’s side is made though.  The Pulwama attack is the disturbing terrorist attack which took place on February 14, 2019. As per reports, a suicide bomber belonging to the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed rammed an explosive laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF personnel. To avenge the attack the Indian Army with the Indian Airforce carried out a surgical strike by bombing the terrorist camp of the involved group killing almost 300 of them. What part of the story the film deals with will be a mystery any more information comes out. But going by the success of URI, Josh with this one is going to be quite high. Let’s see how Abhishek deals with this subject.

Abhishek’s last outing was Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath which had a decent run.
