Ishaan Khatter’s Beyond the Clouds to release in China

In case you missed it, Beyond the Clouds, directed by Majid Majidi was praised for its lead actors’ performances as well as for its cinematography. However, it remained fairly unknown in India as it did not generate much buzz at the box office. But now the film has a chance to redeem itself  Zero-style.

That’s right; the film will be releasing in China on May 24 and hopefully, it will impress the Chinese audience with its storyline and stellar performances. The film starred Ishaan Khatter in his first lead role along with Malavika Mohanan who played his sister. Khatter even went on to win the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Beyond the Clouds is set in Mumbai with Ishaan playing a young, street smart drug-dealer and Mohanan his sister who is thrown behind the bars after landing in the crossfire of her brother’s dicey hustle. For more such updates from the world of entertainment, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
