Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been away from the arc lights after Race 3, is finally ready to be seen on the big screen again. While she has already announced some of her future projects buzz is that she has been approached for yet another interesting film. Yes, Jacqueline Fernandez is being considered to play Smita Patil’s role in the remake of Mahesh Bhatt’s 1982 film, Arth.
For the uninitiated, Arth is a semi-autobiographical film written by Bhatt, which revolved around his extramarital relationship with Parveen Babi. Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Raj Kiran and Rohini Hattangadi were a big part of this film. Now, it will be fun to see how well Jacqueline essay’s the role played by Smita Patil, if she does. The remake will be directed by South star Revathi, if reports are to be believed, Jacqueline really liked the role and the script and is excited to be a part of the remake.
Apart from Arth, Jacquline will be seen in Drive alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. She has been busy taking acting classes in Los Angeles for the same. She is also a part of Farah Khan’s web project Mrs Serial Killer. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such news and updates.
