Jacqueline Fernandez’s next with Sajid Samji titled Chashme Baddoor 2? Read exclusive details

We had told you first how Jacqueline Fernandez will soon be seen opposite not one but three actors in her next comedy directed by Sajid Samji of Sajid-Farhad fame. We had also revealed that playing one of the leading men, will be Sunny Singh of last year’s superhit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Now we have further details about the film. Buzz indicates that the film has finally got a title and it’s Chashme Baddoor! Since the film is on the same premise of the 2013 David Dhawan-directed Chashme Baddoor that had Taapsee Pannu, this one starring Jacqueline may be titled Chashme Baddoor 2.

If this information is not enough, we have also heard that the makers of the film were planning an end that was similar to the recent Sonam K Ahuja starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Well, for those unaware, the film had Sonam play a gay character. And while the film was lauded by critics and industry at large, the reception of the film at the box office apart from the metros was not too encouraging given the unconventional ending. So, sources indicate that there are chances that the writers of Chashme Baddoor 2 may now change the end. Well, we will keep you posted!

Meanwhile, you may recall that we had earlier also told you how the Jacqueline starrer is Sajid’s first film as a solo director. He had earlier co-directed Housefull 3 and Entertainment with Farhad, who is also making his debut as a solo director with Housefull 4. Together, the duo Sajid-Farhad has given the industry some of the biggest hits till date as writers, including Rohit Shetty’s Ranveer Singh-starrer Simmba, Ajay Devgn-starrer Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Golmaal Again, Singham and Singham Returns, and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Chennai Express among others.
