The Welcome series is one of the most popular comic franchise in Bollywood. People have loved this comic gangsta drama. Welcome starring Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal performed well. John Abraham replaced Akshay for Welcome Back, with the rest of the main characters being the same. And it did exceedingly well too. With so much success and love for the franchise, everyone now wants to see the third installment. There have been rumours of Welcome 3 and we can now confirm that it is surely happening! In fact, John, Anil, Nana will reunite for Welcome 3 and we have all the exclusive details.
There were reports that John might opt out of the third part, but after hearing the premise, he is quite excited about this one! As a source reveals to us exclusively, “While Akshay has come back for Feroz Nadiadwala’s Hera Pheri 3, John has also returned for Welcome 3. John is really kicked about the film and has agreed to come on board. Apart from John; Anil, Nana and Paresh Rawal will also reprise their roles. Currently, the work on the final draft of the script is going on. So, we are hoping Welcome 3 goes on floor by the second half of the year.”
From what we hear, Welcome 3 might be directed by a new director. While the first two parts were directed by Anees Bazmee, this time around someone else might take the director’s chair. In fact, there will be a slight change in the Welcome franchise too. The first two parts were comedies, however, this time around there will be a lot of action too. The makers are also looking to sign an A-list actress and few other stars for the movie. In the meantime, share with us your excitement for Welcome 3 in the comments section below!
