His daughter-in-law, actress Kajol shared a very close bond with him. His demise came as a big shock to the actress. Kajol took to her social media handle to write a heartfelt note.

The last few days have been difficult for Ajay Devgn and his family. We saw how broken Kajol was at the funeral of her late father-in-law and that itself shows her love for him. Sharing a picture from a past event where the veteran action-director was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, Kajol penned down a note about him. She wrote, “In happier times … .He won the award for a lifetime of achievement on this day but it took a lifetime to prove. So many people mourn the life of the man but that was a life well lived… RIP with love.”
