Kalank song Tabaah Ho Gaye: Madhuri aces 10 plus non-stop spins in single take!

We told you earlier how Madhuri Dixit’s solo-dance number Tabaah Ho Gaye in Kalank that speaks volumes about love and longing will completely captivate you when it releases in some time. While the mesmerising song hits the right notes musically, the highlight of course is Madhuri Dixit Nene’s dance performance. Let us tell you that the dance number is completely worth the wait for all Madhuri fans. And the Dancing Diva has pulled all plugs to make sure it’s one of the grandest ever. Choreographed by ace choreographer Saroj Khan alongwith Remo D’Souza handling the back-up, the star perfectly executes the most intricate dance moves effortlessly and with utmost grace in true Madhuri style!

While the entire Tabaah Ho Gaye song is a highlight in itself, the song builds up to a crescendo towards the last minute and Madhuri Dixit spinning non-stop in it will completely take your breath away. The star has performed 12 plus non-stop spins in the last minute alone. And guess what, the spins were shot in one single take. Yes that’s right!

Talking about it, Madhuri tells us, “The entire song was choreographed in about two to three days, and the spin that you see in the climax of the song was shot in one take.” In fact, we’ve been hearing that Abhishek Varman, who rarely smiled during the making of the film, couldn’t suppress his happiness at the beautiful shot. The song conveys the heart-ache and the beauty of the character and the pain she bears is beautifully expressed through the eyes and expressions, even while she dances. Madhuri has done full justice to it. “The pain has to be internalised and then reflected in the dance movements and they had to be gentler,” she explains. Check out the teaser here:

Unlike the other numbers, in which there have been multi-actors, Tabaah Ho Gaye is completely picturised on Madhuri Dixit. The grandeur of the sets is only topped by the star’s performance. “Be it the sets or any other platform, they are a stage and it’s exciting to perform,” adds Madhuri, whose song has further intrigued cinema-lovers.
