With just 9 days left for Kalank to arrive in theatres, the entire team of the film is leaving no stone unturned to promote the magnum opus. The teaser and the trailer of the film were beyond magical and the songs have also left the audience mesmerized. But even after all these glitzy revelations, what everyone has been eagerly waiting for is Madhuri Dixit Nene’s dance number. We had initially revealed that the song will be choreographed by Saroj Khan but the latest development is that not one but two choreographers have come together this track.

In an earlier report, we had mentioned about Remo D’Souza being a part of the song but it looks like both Saroj and Remo have collaborated for the first time for this Madhuri song titled Tabah Ho Gaye. It’s the first time that the two choreographers are working on the same song together. While Remo has taken care of the direction, Saroj Khan and Madhuri have worked on her expressions in the song. During a chat, Madhuri also revealed that it is going to be a slow number. She said, “First of all after I heard the song, I thought that Saroj Ji would be ideal for this song. Saroj Ji deserved this song and this song deserved her because it is a very her kind of thing. Also, the complication is that Bahaar Begum is different than Chandramukhi. So keeping Bahar Begum’s mentality is mind, we had to choreograph the song. Remo is also choreographing.” She even spoke about how both Remo and Saroj Khan were actively working towards this song.

“The challenge here was that Baahar Begum’s character is such that given a choice maybe she wouldn’t have danced also. Her character is like that. So the fact that she is dancing, we had to keep in mind her character. So it has a very balanced kind of choreography so it’s all like coming together with the song. Not just the song, but everyone’s stories and the characters that come ahead, all that had to be kept in mind. This song is semi-classical,” added Madhuri.

Kalank is a movie that’s high on glitz, glamour, and grandeur and we are sure the fans cannot wait to see the film. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala and Grandsons Entertainment, the film is undoubtedly one of the biggest releases of this year. Till then, stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates from the world of Bollywood.
