Kangana Ranaut lashes out at Karan Johar again; reveals, “He called me jobless, I think some people need a dose of Chyawanprash!”

Kangana Ranaut is straightforward, blunt and fearless and she proves this time and time again. The Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actor never holds back even when she is asked about a touchy subject. The unapologetically honest actress has gotten into hot water several times because of her sharp tongue, but she is fearless as ever. Recently Kangana was invited to speak on the India Today Conclave for a session titled #BreakingBad: On creativity and kicking ass. During the session, Kangana spoke about the recent Pulwama incident, her understanding of feminism and her constant fights with Bollywood bigwigs like Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan, and others.

Kangana opened the session with talks about her being the outsider in the industry. She also revealed that her fearless attitude comes from the fact that she has nothing to fall back on, so it always a do-or-die call for her. Talking about the infamous fallout between Karan Johar and her last year, Kangana said that at the point she felt very strongly about it, but as times passed she got less bothered about it. Kangana brought up how Karan Johar mocked her on the IIFA stage calling her jobless and looking for work, Kangana feistily said “Come on look at my talent, Look at your movies I mean, Really ??” to a laughing audience. “He really called me jobless on a London platform, I think some people need a dose of Chyawanprash” 

When asked about how she feels about comparisons made in the industry between actresses, and being left out from directors and producers favourite lists while Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt’s names come up as the bright stars,  Kangana said “I don’t feel left out, I think I stand out, When you talk about actresses , here is a three times National Award winning actor and Mr. Johars of the world try to present up a list of actors whose acting abilities are so questionable, whether they have even come to that category or not and with a blank face, who is the best of the lot?”

 Kangana went further to say that once upon a time people liked neon prints and big flared bellbottoms, but now they look back at that and laugh. Similarly, she feels these people are one day going to look back at things they have done and said and just look like complete idiots. Kangana surely didn’t mince her words yet again rather she was being cheered on by the attending audience at some of the comments she made.
