Karan Johar gave away Shiddat to Dinesh Vijan? Find out!

Dinesh Vijan made an interesting announcement today (May 16) adding one more film to his list of upcoming films. Radhika Madan, Sunny Kaushal, Diana Penty and Mohit Raina will be seen in his next, Shiddat. The film will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh. With an interesting star cast, we are excited to see this one! But the first thing that came to our mind was Karan Johar. Why? Well Karan had announced Shiddat on several occasions with different cast members, last being Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. But it never took off with that title. Finally when it did take off, the title was changed to Kalank. And you know it’s fate! With Karan Johar not using Shiddat for any of his films in the near future and Dinesh Vijan wanting it, he was kind enough to give it away to him.

We even contacted Dinesh Vijan to confirm the same and he revealed to us exclusively, “Yes, the title, Shiddat was with Karan (Johar). He was kind enough to give it to us. The word Shiddat captures the true essence of the film, and it’s a perfect title for it.” Well looks like Shiddat will finally see the light of day with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films production.
