Karan Johar, Jaya Bachchan, Salma Khan celebrate Hiroo Johar’s birthday with a bang – watch video

We have seen Karan Johar talk about his mother Hiroo Johar with a lot of love and compassion, especially when he talks about how she has supported him throughout his career. She still plays a pivotal role in his life as Karan’s kids Roohi and Yash are being looked after under her motherly love. Hiroo Johar celebrates her 76th birthday today, and she spent it with her loved ones and her friends from B-town. Her birthday bash was held at Hakkasan restaurant, where she was seen cutting a cake with Karan by her side, who then kissed her forehead to express his love for mommy dearest! Aww!

The party was attended by Jaya Bachchan, Salma Khan, Shobha Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, among others. Many other celebrities who have been friends with her through the years also graced the event. The video in which we get to see Hiroo Johar giving her thank you speech looks really sweet, especially the way she thanks everyone who stood by her, through the years. In the video, we get to see Karan smiling and saying that we can do this every alternate year. What’s more? All her friends told her to celebrate her birthday twice a year! Hiroo has been known to be KJo’s support system. She was married to the film producer Yash Johar, the founder of Dharma Productions which was later taken over by their son, Karan Johar.
