Karan Johar takes us through the preparations of Takht – watch video

Karan Johar’s next grand directorial Takht has left the audience excited right from its announcement. After the first poster was released there were no updates on the film. There were also speculations that the film has been shelved. But KJo has put all speculations to rest today (May 29), after sharing glimpses of the film’s preparations.

Karan took to Instagram and put up two stories. The stories took us through the prep room that had many pictures mounted on the boards and the team is seen researching. If reports are to be believed, the film will go on floors later this year and going by the stories looks like the film is currently in the pre-production stage.

Set to release in 2020, Takht stars a heavyweight cast including Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. For more details on the film, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
