Karan Johar is one of the first Bollywood celebrities who got their statue at Madame Tussauds in London. And now the filmmaker is all set to join the bandwagon in Singapore. He also becomes the first Indian filmmaker to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The producer-director flew to the city of Sentosa to unveil his new Madame Tussauds statue. Mother Hiroo Johar accompanied her son to the occasion as well. But that was not all. Karan Johar had another surprise coming his way at the event. The Kalank producer took to his social media page to inform his fans about this big news and guess what the unveiling of the statue was also featured live for his fans to see.

Talking about the statue, well it was one of the best replicas that we have seen. Karan’s statue can be seen taking a selfie and this truly embodies KJo’s personality. Along with this, he also launched an “ultimate film star experience” with a 2,500 square meters new zone celebrating Indian cinema. The zone will have interactive technology like AR, Kinect, Hologram and physical special effects. The visitors will hence get a chance to dance and act their way into the hall of fame alongside noted Indian celebrities. Interesting, right?

He will also be directing the magnum opus Takht starring Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal.
