Karan Oberoi case: Victim’s lawyer arrested in a shocking development

A woman had filed an FIR against actor Karan Oberoi under sections 376 (rape) and 384 (extortion) early-May. She alleged that the actor duped her under the pretext of marrying her and that he raped her, filmed the act and threatened to release the video unless she paid him money. On May 25, she claimed that she was attacked by unknown people who pressured her to withdraw the case. Four people were arrested in connection to the attack. On investigation, it was revealed that one of the men was related to her lawyer Ali Kashif Khan.

Now the question that arises is whether the women knew that this entire act was being staged by her own lawyer or not. Unintentionally, this may actually help Karan’s case.

Karan Oberoi is an actor who has been part of many shows.
