Karan Oberoi rape case: TV actor to apply for a bail tomorrow (May 10) after Mumbai Sessions Court remands him to judicial custody till May 23!

TV actor and A Band of Boys member Karan Oberoi has been in police custody since May 05. A fashion designer and astrologer had accused him of rape and blackmailing. The court had directed the Mumbai police to keep Karan Oberoi in custody till May 09. The investigation on the rape case went on, but there has been no update on it as of yet. However, we can tell you that today (May 09), the Mumbai Sessions Court sent the TV actor to judicial custody for 14 days. That means, Karan Oberoi will be in police custody till May 23, when the next hearing will take place. From what we hear, Karan Oberoi will apply for bail in the High Court tomorrow (May 10).
In the meantime, his friends and family have come together in support of him. They held a press conference where they slammed the lady and her allegations. They opened up about Karan Oberoi being a decent boy and kickstarted a #MenToo movement, saying how a few ladies are taking advantage of the #MeToo wave. Karan Oberoi is a TV actor, who has been seen in several hit TV shows including Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. He has been seen in TV commercials as well as on the popular digital show, Inside Edge. Karan also formed an Indipop boy band, A Band of Boys, along with Sudhanshu Pandey, Sherrin Varghese, Siddharth Haldipur and Chaitnya Bhosale in 2001.
