Celebrities live the high life most of the times. However, every coin has two sides, and with the glitz, glamour, and fame comes the flip side of the coin too. While most fans love their favourite stars, some have often crossed the line. Despite there being security measures to protect these stars from unfortunate incidents, some slip this tight net every now and then. Here are some of the actresses who have faced being man-handled and have dealt with it like a boss.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was attacked by some fans that turned into a mob when she was on a promotional tour of the same movie in an Indian city.
Padmaavat actress Deepika, was attending a Diwali magazine launch party where she was touched inappropriately by a fan.
Tiger Zinda Hain beauty Katrina Kaif’s security team came to her rescue when some fans tried to cross the line back in 2005. They tried to push her around and touch her, but an untoward incident was avoided due to the swift action by her team.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
The newly married actress faced a similar situation quite some time ago. Back in the day when she was shooting for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Anjaana Anjaani, a man misbehaved with her and tried to hold her hand. Priyanka being the boss babe that she is, pushed this man and slapped him too.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja
The Veere Di Wedding actress was also faced by a similar situation. Accompanied by actor Dhanush, Sonam was surrounded by a mob who got out of control. Dhanush stepped in and had to break up the overbearing crowd.
The Hate Story 3 actress had a very scary incident that occurred while she was in Aurangabad for the launch of a mobile store, but the actress handled it like a pro. There was even a video that surfaced on the internet and went viral for all the right reasons. While she was in Aurangabad, an unruly mob surrounded the actress and started getting very rowdy despite being surrounded by heavy security. Instead of waiting for her team to act on it, Zarine took matters in her own hands and started hitting back at the mob who was trying to touch her inappropriately. When we’d contacted Zarine back when the incident happened, this is what she’d said, “Actress or not, I’m a woman first, and I have a right to defend myself. My safety and my security are in my hands. I don’t care ki main kahaan hoon aur kaun mujhe dekh raha hai. You mess with me, I’ll hit back.
Miss Universe Sushmita is a strong and independent woman. But last year she came face to face with a 15-year-old boy who tried to misbehave with her at an event in Delhi that caused a lot of havoc. Sen was surprised to see that the hand she’d grabbed was that of a young boy. She told him off but didn’t take any legal action because she felt that the boy was just not taught that such things are an offense and not entertainment.
The Dabangg actress was on tour with her co-star Akshay Kumar when some men in the crowd tried to misbehave with her and touch her inappropriately.
The Dirty Picture actress is not the one to take things lightly. At Kolkata airport, a man tried to slide his hand on her back, the actress confronted him and taught him a lesson then and there.
The actress was attending an event at a jewellery shop in Hyderabad back in 2018, when someone from the crowd threw a shoe at her. Though the shoe missed hitting her, the actress was visibly shaken after the incident.
Actress Minissha Lamba was left scared and shook in Goa when some fans crossed the line during a photo shoot. While she was dressed in swimwear on the beach, a huge mob started gathering around her and started shooting videos on their phones. The shoot had to be canceled and relocated as the actress was very uncomfortable after the incident.
It is unfortunate that these actresses had to face such uncouth behaviour from fans. Hope these stars never have to encounter such incidents in the future. Stay tuned to CineBlitz to get the latest updates of your favourite celebs!
