Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan Name Their Second Child, Jeh, confirms Randhir Kapoor

Actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have named their younger son. They have named the five-month-old Jeh. The stylish couple welcomed their second child in February this year. Kareena’s father and yesteryear actor, Randhir Kapoor has confirmed the same, “Yes, Kareena and Saif’s son has been named Jeh recently.”

Though Kareena has occasionally shared glimpses of her son a number of times on her Instagram profile, the two are yet to formally announce the name of their baby boy. ‘Saifeena’ as they are fondly called by their fans, have a five-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan.

When Taimur was born, Saif and Kareena were heavily trolled by netizens for their choice of their first baby’s name. Many called them out for naming him after the Turkish invader, known to be ruthless. However, Kareena and Saif cleared the air by saying that Taimur means ‘iron’ in Persian and that is what they were going for.

In an interview, Kareena opened up about how she was even shamed for it by a famous personality. “(A famous personality), on the pretext of visiting me and the baby, came up to me and in the conversation of actually saying congratulations, said that ‘what’s with you? Why would you name your son Taimur?’ And I was like, It hadn’t even been eight hours since I’d delivered. And I literally started crying. That person was asked to leave. My journey with that started then where I just made up my mind and I said this is my boy, my son. I don’t care what happens. As long as he is happy, and he is healthy and we’re happy. I’m just gonna go home and go away with this. I don’t want to know anything else, what is trolling, what is happening,” she said.

Recently, Kareena also revealed the cover of her debut book titled “Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible.” Calling it her ‘third child’, she posted, “This has been quite the journey… both my pregnancies and writing my Pregnancy Bible. There were good days and bad days; some days I was raring to go to work and others where I struggled to get out of bed. This book is a very personal account of what I experienced both physically and emotionally through both my pregnancies.”

On the professional front, Kareena will next star opposite Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha, while Saif is gearing up for the release of Bhoot Police.
