Looks like Saif Ali Khan’s successful transition from the big screen to the web has now inspired his sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor to do the same. The good-looking actress, who has many blockbusters to her credit, will be making her web debut with the Indian version of popular American show Pretty Little Liars. Yes, we know PLL is a cult show with a huge fan base all over the world but the desi version won’t be exactly the same. So guys don’t have to worry. As per reports, the show will air on ALT Balaji which is owned by Ekta Kapoor.

While Pretty Little Liars was a teen drama which revolved around five high school girls, the Indian version will be about five mothers. At least, that’s what we heard and we really hope that’s case or else adapting Pretty Little Liars as it is won’t really make sense with Karisma in the lead. Yes, that’s another piece of information that’s been doing the rounds in the media. ALT Balaji has apparently signed Karisma to play the lead and the makers will rope in few more actresses for the web show which is yet to be titled. Since Lolo, as she is fondly called, hasn’t graced the big screen in a long time, it would definitely be fun to see her act once again.

Apart from the Kapoor girl, Madhuri Dixit Nene is also venturing into the OTT world but as a producer. The dhak dhak girl is producing a show which is titled 15 August and it will air in March on Netflix. Arjun Rampal is also entering the web space with a series called Final Call. With so many stars taking the plunge, it would be interesting how things pan out for each of them. For now, tell us how excited are you to see Karisma Kapoor in the Indian version of Pretty little Liars?
