Luka Chuppi is fast emerging to be a successful movie and has been able to pull the crowd in theatres since the first day of its release. Not just the younger generation, the older generations also seem to like the movie because of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s on-screen chemistry. The two actors had the biggest opening of their film and have been celebrating since. Kriti even went on to sell tickets of her movie at a theatre just to keep up the excitement.

When asked about her co-star Kartik Aaryan, she said, “I think he deserves every bit of the credit that he is getting today. He absolutely deserves the love he has been getting because he has struggled his way up to the top. He is a really hard working guy and an even better actor.” She also spoke about his comic streak, saying, “Aaryan is very good at that and has mastered the game.” About her equation with him, she added, “I think we became really good friends. The vibe was very friendly. Also because we both come from middle-class families and have struggled our way up and earned this success, so we could relate to each other a lot. We are very alike as actors and that really helped us on the sets of the film.”

Luka Chuppi is the story of Guddu Shukla (Kartik Aaryan), a local reporter who falls in love with Rashmi Tiwari (Kriti Sanon) and the couple explores the concept of live-in relationships in the small town. Things go haywire when Guddu’s parents assume that the two are married and rest is for you to see in the theatre if you haven’t already.
