Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got engaged at a small intimate roka ceremony recently. According to India Today, the special ceremony was held at Katrina’s friend and Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s home. Katrina has worked with Kabir in New York and Ek Tha Tiger and reveres Kabir and regards him her rakhi brother.

The ceremony was very intimate and only family members were present at the roka. Also present were Katrina’s mom, Suzanne Turquoette, her sister, Isabelle Kaif, Vicky’s parents, Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal, and brother Sunny Kaushal. According to sources close to the groom, it was a beautiful roka. There were lights and decoration and Katrina looked stunning in her specially designed lehenga. Since the Diwali dates were auspicious, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony. Kabir and Mini were the most gracious hosts.

It is believed that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will get married in Rajasthan in December. The couple is planning to skip their honeymoon as both have impending work commitments. Katrina has to resume shooting Tiger 3 and Vicky will start working on the Sam Maneckshaw biopic, Sam Bahadur.

According to India Today, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have sent no invites or made no calls to friends yet, because Katrina, who is basically a private person, is very upset with the news of the wedding leaking in the media. The actress has always been very guarded and private about her personal life and this important moment being made public before her announcement has ticked her off. Despite common friends aware of the upcoming wedding, both Vicky and Katrina are playing it very casual and keeping it hush-hush. No date has been given by either of them yet. There is zero information on the venue as well.
