We had earlier told you exclusively how Katrina Kaif has been zeroed in opposite Akshay Kumar for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. Although Jacqueline Fernandez was also in consideration, the role has finally been bagged by Katrina. Now, naturally, there’s bound to be tremendous excitement of seeing her pair up on screen with Akshay once again. After all, the once super-hit jodi is coming together on-screen nine years after their last film together, which was Tees Maar Khan in 2010. However, while this is great news, Katrina’s starring in Sooryavanshi also throws up another facet that will have the industry and fans’ jaws dropped!
Yes, now with Katrina Kaif confirmed in Sooryavanshi, she is all set to clash with none other than Salman Khan at the box office. Well, for those of you who don’t know, let us remind you that as we had earlier reported, Akshay’s Sooryavanshi and Salman Khan-starrer Inshallah are both slated to release on the same date when they hit the screens next year on Eid. So, obviously the box office clash between Salman and Katrina is inevitable! The two taking on each other at the box office is definitely going to get their fans and the industry talking for obvious reasons – as it concerns not just professional, but their personal equations as well.
But that’s not all. It’s not just Salman that Katrina will be taking on next year on Eid. She will also be clashing with BFF Alia Bhatt who also happens to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Salman. Now two besties giving each other takkar… This also is bound to make the clash one of the most-looked forward to in 2020. So, far the industry was all abuzz about Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan taking on each other, as well as Rohit Shetty and SLB clashing with their respective films. But with this new addition, the excitement has only increased by leaps and bounds. And all eyes will be on the two films, their director and above all their stars as they indulge in the mega-clash of Bollywood professionally, but this time with personal equations in the picture too.
With so much high-octane drama off screen surrounding the two films already, only time will tell how much more action will be there at the box office on Eid next year, when they release on the same date.
