Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Amitabh Bachchan Reacts to Manu Bhaker’s Praise for Shah Rukh Khan

Sony Entertainment Television’s much-loved reality quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, in its recent ‘Jeet Ka Jashn’ episode, honoured the triumphant achievements of Olympic medallists, Manu Bhaker and Aman Sehrawat.

As Manu was answering questions, there was one specific segment where Dil Toh Pagal Hai’s title track was played for her and she was asked, “Which actor is in this film?” Responding to the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Manu said, “When it comes to love and romance, it has to be Shah Rukh Khan” and locked the final answer as “Shah Rukh Khan”.

What followed was a truly heartwarming and entertaining moment on the show, when Bachchan, known for his wit and quick responses, humorously exclaimed, “Devi ji, I’ve also done films with pyaar, mohabbat (love, romance),” to which Manu innocently confessed that she has not seen many films. She said, “Sir, I have seen very few of your films. To be honest, I haven’t seen many films at all. I don’t get the time.” Their playful banter, especially her quoting the iconic line from Mohabbatein, impressed the host, who proudly informed the audience that she delivered a dialogue from his film.

Manu’s charm was on full display as she shared how her international travels often lead to conversations about India’s iconic stars, saying, “When people find out I’m Indian, they say, ‘Oh India? Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan.’”, leaving Bachchan even more uplifted.
