Earlier we informed you that actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in opposite Ajay Devgn in the Syed Abdul Rahim biopic. Today, the actress expressed her happiness about debuting in the Hindi film industry. Known for her roles in the south film industry, the actress is very happy about her Bollywood debut and here’s all you need to know.
Keerthy rose to fame with her film Mahanati which made her a household name and won many hearts. The actress is all set to make her Bollywood debut in a film that follows the life of the Indian football player and coach, Syed Abdul Rahim. Keerthy is happy about getting the role and this is what she said, “I am elated and honoured to be a part of such a great story. This is a film that will make every Indian proud. I believe this is a story that doesn’t belong to any specific region or language of India but is a great Indian story that the world should know.” The film will be directed by Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma and will be produced by Boney Kapoor. The shoot for the film will commence in June 2019.
Keerthy was last seen in the political drama Sarkar opposite Vijay, which was directed by Murugadoss. She is currently shooting for Priyadarshan’s next which is a magnum opus starring Mohanlal.
