Akshay Kumar is back with a bang, this time it’s his war-film Kesari that is making headlines. The Akshay-Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari is another untold heroic story Havildar Ishar Singh who was in the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army fought against the 10,000 Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen. The movie is set in the era of 1897. After dropping snippets of the movie through their trailer and making, the film now has released a dialogue promo from the movie-  Strike 2 and its already giving us goosebumps.

We all can agree on the massive lengths the cast and crew have gone to keep the look and feel as authentic and dated as possible. And we must say that a lot of effort has gone into the making of this battle story. The newly released snippet shows the rival commanders Havildar Ishar Singh (Akshay Kumar) and the Afghan head getting their troops to go into the battleground. We see some intense dialogues being said by the 2 commanders. The 10,000:21 ratio does stand out and surely leaves you thinking about what happened next? Though according to statistics only one ending seems logical – Afghanis crushing Havildar and his 20 men easily. These little snippets from the movie are finely adding to the buildup, leaving us excited to know how the story unfolds.

After successful movies like  Padman, Gold, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha feel like Akshay is surely ruling this bracket of movies. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Apurva Mehta, and Sunir Kheterpal. The movie is set to release on March 21. What do you think about the Kesari teaser and how excited are you for the film? Let us know in the comments section below.
