Kirik Party Hindi Remake: Producers looking for new faces after Kartik Aaryan walks out

Hindi remake of the Kannada hit Kirik Party was announced long back. In May 2018, the film made some headlines when Kartik Aaryan walked out of it. Yes, Kartik who was the first choice to play the lead, left the project due to some creative differences, after which the film was shelved. However, recent developments stated that the producers have revived the project and are now looking for new leads in the film.

Kirik Party is a Kannada romantic comedy that released in 2016 and went on to be a hit. The story was set in a college campus and starred Rakshit Shetty in the lead. If reports are to be believed, Kartik Aaryan was not happy with the script. The film was being produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor and Vrithika Laykar. There were also speculations that Jacqueline Fernandez will be playing the female lead, but there is no update on this as well.
