Kirti Kulhari avoids question on PM Narendra Modi, but why?

At a special screening, Kirti Kulhari avoided a question on PM Narendra Modi

Kirti Kulhari is currently riding high on the success of her film Uri: The Surgical Strike. The military drama, which stars Vicky Kaushal in lead, is ruling the box office and how. Apart from the film, Kriti also has a popular web series – Four More Shots Please – to her credit. So professionally, it’s safe to say that the Pink actor is doing quite well for herself. Maybe that’s one reason why Kriti decided to not answer a question regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi as it could have gotten her into an unnecessary controversy.

The 33-year-old actress, who will next be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal, was recently spotted at the screening of a web series. At the event, Kriti happily interacted with the media and answered almost all the questions except for one. When someone asked her opinion on the Modi government and the work they have done so far, the talented actress without getting herself into trouble, cleverly replied, “My thoughts will show in my vote and you will not know that.” She further added, “I am not prepared enough to answer this question, I will come prepared next time and will answer it.”

Considering Uri was being touted an agenda film made for the Modi Government to ensure its win in the coming elections, we aren’t surprised by Kriti’s vague answer. After all, her career is going smooth at the moment and we are sure she doesn’t want anything to affect it even a small comment. We get it girl!

Anyway, coming back to Uri, despite all the controversies the military drama has turned out to be the first and the biggest blockbuster of 2019. At the domestic box office, the Aditya Dhar directorial is inching towards the Rs 200 crore club. And at the worldwide box office, the film could go past the Rs 300 crore mark.

This Gully Boy actor received a handwritten letter from Amitabh Bachchan – guess who?

No, we aren’t talking about Ranveer Singh or Alia Bhatt. Now can you guess the Gully Boy actor?

Published at

Siddhant Chaturvedi, who played the role of MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s recent release Gully Boy, is the one who has impressed Amitabh Bachchan big time. And we aren’t surprised because he is certainly the new breakout star of the year. While everyone has been lauding him on social media for his terrific performance, Big B on the other hand, personally wrote a letter of appreciation for him. Now that’s a huge achievement in itself, right peeps? Earlier in the day, Siddhant took to Instagram and posted a picture where he is holding a bouquet and that precious letter.

Further, he wrote a caption in Hindi and expressed how happy, thankful and privileged he feels. He also added his wish to seek blessings from the megastar in person by touching his feet. Clearly, the handsome lad is on cloud nine and will remember this date for the rest of his life. His exact caption in Hindi reads as following: “@amitabhbachchan सादर प्रणाम, आपका उपहार और आशीर्वाद मिला जो मेरे लिए अकल्पनीय है। इस ख़ुशी की व्याख्या मैं शब्दों में नहीं कर सकता। ये मेरे लिए सौभाग्य और गर्व का पल है, और अब बस आपके चरण स्पर्श की कामना करता हूँ”

Well, if you guys have seen Gully Boy then there is no way you couldn’t have noticed him. He has shined really bright in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial venture which released on February 14. In fact, he is currently the talk of the town and is everywhere – from new channels to newspaper – making headlines because of his outstanding performance. But today he got a tap on his shoulder from the Shahenshah of Bollywood and that we think will always remain priceless for him more than anything else. As for Big B, he has been encouraging good talent since a long time and every B-town actor desires to own a handwritten letter Amitabh Bachchan letter. In Siddhant’s case, that’s a big tick off the list already. Guess he off to a fantabulous start in Bollywood and rightly so.
