Kriti Sanon is a box office favourite and here’s why we say so!

With Luka Chuppi storming the box office, Kriti Sanon has proved that she is here to stay for a long time. As the romantic comedy co-starring Kartik Aaryan races towards the Rs 100 crore club, Ms Sanon is set to add yet another blockbuster to her kitty, proving that nothing matters more than talent. The stunning actress made her big Bollywood debut with the super-hit film Heropanti and then went to star in the big budget film Dilwale which grossed Rs 100 crore as well. In 2017, it was her film Bareilly Ki Barfi which turned out to be a sleeper hit. With such an impressive box office track record, it’s quite clear that this B-town beauty is now a force to reckon with in Bollywood.

Talking about the same, a trade source tells us, “Barring Raabta, which underperformed at the box office; Kriti’s career has only been lined with hits. Heropanti, Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi and the recent Luka Chuppi have all been blockbusters, making her one of the most successful stars of her generation. It’s also rare to have an outsider make it this big in the industry, without having an industry godfather or backing.” Well, that’s indeed true.

“Not only is Kriti immensely popular but her greatest strength lies is her ability to pair with young stars like Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, Tiger Shroff, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kartik Aaryan, Arjun Kapoor and a superstar like Akshay Kumar both with equal ease,” added the source.

Coming back to Kriti, she has three more films lined up for release this year. The talented actress will be seen opposite Dilijit Dosanjh in Arjun Patiala which is slated to release on July 19. Then she will be seen in Housefull 4 alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol. The comic caper will come out on October 25. And then lastly, she will be seen sharing screen space with Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in Panipat which is being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
