15 August: Vicky Kaushal, Asha Bhosle attend Madhuri Dixit’s screening of her Netflix production

Last night (March 28), was a star-studded affair as celebs attended the screening for Madhuri Dixit and Shriram Nene’s latest production venture, a Netflix film titled 15 August. Madhuri and husband Shriram Nene were seen hosting celebs like Neha Sharma, Asha Bhosle, Vicky Kaushal, Sumeet Raghavan, Ashutosh Rana, Renuka Shahane, Mahesh Kothare, Vikram Phadnis and Kriti Kharbanda at the special screen of the film.

Madhuri looked resplendent as she donned a white and gold anarkali while her hubby Dr Shriram Nene who looked dapper in a black suit as they struck a pose. Kriti Kharbanda opted for a black velvet top and trousers while Hrudayantar director Vikram Phadnis looked handsome in casuals. Youngistaan actress Neha Sharma sported a dress with a denim jacket. While the rest of them posed for the cameras, Vicky Kaushal was seen clicking pictures with fans. He looked cool in a white sweatshirt with black tracks and white shoes. Asha Bhosleji looked amazing donning a light golden and black saree while walking hand-in-hand with her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle.

15 August is the first production venture for Madhuri along with her husband. Set in the backdrop of a Mumbai chawl, the film is about a guy who ends up creating complete chaos in order to win over his lady love and how all the residents of the chawl come together to help him out forms the rest of the story. Since all this happens on the eve of Independence Day, the film is titled 15 August. In a nutshell, the Marathi movie highlights what independence, love, and affection really mean to the community. 15 August will release on Netflix today March 29.
