Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria make their Koffee With Karan debut with Tiger Shroff

Koffee with Karan is one popular show that has become a benchmark of sorts for actors in Bollywood – almost an indication that you really haven’t made it big if you haven’t been invited on the talk show hosted by Karan Johar at least once. And while the invitation merits some Box Office credibility of the actors, Karan seems to have made a rare exception in his upcoming episode. The filmmaker had on his show two newcomers who are yet to debut on the big screen. Making their debut on the talk show even before their film’s release are the leads of Students of The Year 2 – Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday, – who came to the show with Tiger Shroff.

Of course, there are perks of being the leading ladies in a film that’s being produced by the filmmaker who’s hosting the show. But we must say that the two girls looked ravishing and handled the couch rather confidently with Tiger in the middle of the action. Tara and Ananya were seen having an amazing time on the show and if there was any nervousness, it clearly didn’t show. The two handled the questions like pros. In fact, it was Tiger who at one point seemed to be bullied by the girls as he played along with his co-stars like a gentleman.

As for this small screen debut, interestingly, it’s only Ananya who’s making her debut on television. While Tiger has been on the show earlier, Tara has been a popular name with two shows that she’s been a part of earlier – The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir and as Jassie in Oye Jassie. As for the big screen outing – their upcoming film Student Of the Year 2 directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is slated to release on May 10 this year.
