Andaz Apna Apna director Rajkumar Santoshi is back with yet another romcom – details inside

Known for directing iconic hits such as Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and Ghayal (1990), Rajkumar Santoshi is back with yet another quirky, romantic comedy.  Throughout his directorial career, he has directed many blockbusters and has earned the reputation of churning out romantic comedies that turned out to almost always peak. For the film going public, their expectations at a Rajkumar Santoshi film announcement runs high. Even industry folk wait to see what next this successful filmmaker will bring to the Box Office.

Santoshi will be directing the upcoming film titled BadBoy. In a statement to the press, Rajkumar said that though he has explored many genres in the arena of filmmaking, one of his favourite genres is romantic comedies. The filmmaker had come up with an interesting and quirky story with BadBoy and together with producer Sajid Qureshi, hopes to give audiences an exciting entertainer. Further, he said that he is extremely excited to commence the shoot from today and is looking forward to working with the debutants who star in the film. Produced by Sajid Qureshi, the film BadBoy went on floors today (May 18).
