Another month, another great list of shows and movies to watch. This month watch Academy Award Winning movies Jojo Rabbit and Ford v Ferrari along with blockbusters like Terminator: Dark FateGo behind the scenes of the biggest animated movie Frozen II with Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2For mystery and drama lovers, a legendary literary character comes to life in Perry Mason. Ring in the monsoon with some captivating new shows and movies, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar Premium.


Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2 (26 June)

With the clock ticking and less than a year until the world premiere of Frozen 2, the filmmakers, artists, songwriters and cast open their doors to cameras for a six-part documentary series to reveal the hard work, heart, and collaboration it takes to create one of the most highly-anticipated films in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ near-century of moviemaking. For the first time, cameras were there to capture an eye-opening -and at times jaw-dropping -view of the challenges and the breakthroughs, the artistry, creativity and the complexity of creating the #1 animated feature of all time.


Jojo Rabbit (02 June)

Acclaimed writer/director Taika Waititi brings his signature humor and pathos to Jojo Rabbit, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic.

Ford vs Ferrari (30 June)

Academy Award® Winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in FORD v FERRARI, based on the true story of visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

Trackers (06 June)

Based on Deon Meyer’s bestselling novel, this new action-packed thriller follows a violent conspiracy and an international terrorist plot that collide in Cape Town, South Africa.

I May Destroy You (08 June)

Perry Mason (22 June)

Based on characters created by author Erle Stanley Gardner, this drama series follows the origins of American fiction’s most legendary criminal defense lawyer, Perry Mason. When the case of the decade breaks down his door, Mason’s relentless pursuit of the truth reveals a fractured city and just maybe, a pathway to redemption for himself.

I’ll Be Gone in the Dark (29 June)

A six-part documentary series based on the book of the same name, I’ll Be Gone In The Dark explores writer Michelle McNamara’s investigation into the dark world of the violent predator she dubbed “The Golden State Killer.” McNamara lived a quiet life as a writer, mother and wife, preferring to stay on the periphery of the Hollywood world of her comedian husband Patton Oswalt. But every night, as her family slept, she indulged her obsession with unsolved cases, beginning her investigation into the man who terrorized California in the 1970s and 80s and is responsible for 50 home-invasion rapes and 12 murders.

Deepika Padukone takes Yoga classes ahead of commencing her next film

The actress will start shooting for Shakun Batra’s film as soon as the lockdown is lifted

With her talent and on screen presence, Deepika Padukone has proved that she can play any character with utmost passion. Ever since her upcoming movie with Shakun Batra has been announced, fans have been contemplating as to what new does the actress have in store for her fans. We hear that Deepika has recently started engaging in yoga as part of her preparation for her role.

According to a well placed source, “Ahead of commencing the shoot for Shakun Batra’s directorial, Deepika Padukone has started training for Yoga. It is a part of her preparation for the film. While there is no understanding of how this is going to be of help to her in the film, as not much is known about her character, it is only known that she has recently started training for it.”

There could be some connection of it with her role and the makers are keeping all the details under wraps.

The actress has been reading parts of the script everyday as she doesn’t want to lose touch with her character by the time they start shooting for it.

Deepika delivers an exemplary performance on the celluloid and the credit goes to her diligence, passion and determination. She thoroughly seeps into the skin of her character, and walks an extra mile to achieve the finesse.

Had it not been for the lockdown, a major chunk of the film’s shoot would have been completed in Sri Lanka. However, the actress will start shooting for the film as soon as the lockdown is lifted.

Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan postponed, to release in theatres in August 2021!

The film showcases the journey of one of India’s finest football coaches

Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan, a film which celebrates the biggest sport in the world -Football, has got a new release date. A story of change and self-belief, Maidaan will release the next Independence Day week, 13th August 2021.

Inspired from an incredible true story, it will showcase the journey of one of the finest coaches that emerged from India, the one who put India on the global map.

Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of Badhai Ho fame, Maidaan also stars National award-winning actress Priyamani, Gajraj Rao who created magic with Badhai Ho and the well known Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh.

Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta, screenplay and dialogues are written by Saiwyn Quadras and Ritesh Shah respectively. The film is set to release on 13 August 2021.

Ajay Devgn to make a film about the recent Galwan Valley incident!

It will narrate the story of the sacrifice of 20 Indian army men who fought the Chinese army

After Bhuj: The Pride of India, Ajay Devgn Ffilms & Select Media Holdings LLP, once again, join hands to showcase the strength of our Indian Army during the recent Galwan Valley incident!

It is a known fact that actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has always supported movies or characters that portray Strength and Valour. The actor, in past, who has shouldered films like LOC: Kargil, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Tanhaji, Singham and RAID amongst others is all set to showcase the Might, Valour & Sacrifice of the Indian army during the infiltration of China at the Galwan Valley recently.

On 15 June, our troops were ambushed. The fighting resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers of 16th Bihar Regiment including its commanding officer, Colonel Santosh Babu.

At a de-escalation meeting following the incident, China accepted that the Chinese commanding officer was also killed in the mêlée. U.S. intelligence reportedly concluded that 35 Chinese soldiers were killed. 20 of our brothers laid their lives to assert the Territorial Integrity and Sovereignty of our Mother Land, It is their story!

The film is co-produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms and Select Media Holdings LLP. It narrates the story of the sacrifice of 20 Indian army men who fought the Chinese army.

The cast and other crew are under finalisation.
