Jaina ShahKalank actress Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Sharman Joshi. She would be playing a scientist in the movie based on the Mars Orbiter Mission of India, also known as Chandrayaan 1. And recently, she was seen cheering for the space women of India for the launch of Chandrayaan 2.
Sona took to social media to wish all the luck and cheer for the launch of Chandrayaan 2 by Indian Space Research Organisation where she hailed the women working towards the mission and felt proud of them. She tweeted “One of India’s most important and prestigious space missions, #Chandrayaan2, is led by women, which also happens to be a first for @isro! Proud of our spacewomen. Produced by R Balki and Akshay Kumar, the movie will be directed by Jagan Shakti and is set to release this Independence Day i.e. on August 15. Besides the movie, Sonakshi is also busy with the promotions of her upcoming Khaandani Shafakhana which has been slated to release on August 2.
