Singer Dhvani Bhanushali who turned 22 on Sunday has donated Rs 50000 to the Film and Television Producers Guild of India’s workers relief fund.
The singer who shot to fame with songs Dilbar song has said that being part of the film industry she has seen how people behind the cameras work. From spot boy to cameraman and even those who serve food to them. Considering the tough times the daily wage workers are going through decided to donate some part of her earnings for their welfare.
Some of the other film production houses who promised to donate money for workers welfare are Frames Production, Madhur Bhandarkar, Sonam Kapoor and many more. FWICE and Film Studio Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union will be distributing ration to members from all the 24 crafts.
