Disney India donates Rs 2 crore in aid of cyclone-hit Odisha

We are all aware of the Cyclone Fani that hit Odisha recently. Today (May 27), Disney India has donated Rs 2 crore to provide help and support relief to the affected areas. The donation will further support disaster response and will provide aid to those in need via Save the Children in India.

Sanjay Gupta, the country manager of Star and Disney India said in a statement: “Our hearts go out to those affected by this severe cyclonic storm Fani. The families and communities impacted by this devastating calamity need our support as they begin to rebuild. Through our contribution, we hope to help the families affected as they recover from this cyclone.”

Having donated this, Save the Children in India will provide for the affected families with critical shelter, basic needs and also work in cyclone shelters and temporary camps.
