Don’t tell Kit Harington, but Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) might have just conquered New York as Jon Snow. Confused? Well, we’ll explain it to you. The Game Of Thrones star made a super fun video of her walking through Times Square in a cheap King of The North (Jon Snow)  party costume (complete with a beard and wig) interacting with New Yorkers at Time Square, and surprisingly most of them were not into GOT, with one actually preferring The Waking Dead over Emilia, even to our surprise! Read on

Emilia started off by dishing details on her plans saying, “Since this is the Game of Thrones experience to literally end it all, I thought what better way to spread the word than to hit the streets of Times Square undercover as — drumroll, please — Jon Snow!, The shop was out of Daenerys costumes, because they’re sold out. I am Jon Snow, and I’m going to go into Times Square now.”

During Clarke’s journey, she’s met by a slew of unimpressed and confused bystanders. “I’m a Walking Dead fan,” one said, to Clarke’s “Christ!” She later bumped into some friendly faces in a souvenir shop, including an action figure of on-screen husband (and hunk) Jason Momoa as Aquaman (oooooh). At one point in the video, Emilia met some famous American heroes who didn’t look very impressed with “Jon Snow”- Batman, Superman and Zorro. The superheroes didn’t get where she came from and tried to get some more out of her but were left confused and even asked where she works, “North of eh..?” The video ended with Emilia not really finding a single hard-core GoT fan! How is that possible? What’s up New York, are we all living on the same planet ….?

Emilia brings out her fun side quite contrary to her on-screen (Mother-of-the-Dragons kinda intensity) and made this video a really fun watch. We love how each of the stars of our favourite show GOT have such a good sense of humour in their real life, it makes for some really good banter of and on-screen. What do you think?
