FRIEND ZONED !!!

Okay, let’s face it. Being friend zoned is horrible. But well, some people find love easy; some don’t – that’s how it is. And if we’ve just described your love life, you must know you’re not alone. Apart from your fellow ‘friend-zonees’, we have a bunch of celluloid characters who just feel the pain!

1. Jimmy Shergill – Do we even need to say which movie? He’s basically the ‘King’ of the tribe of being ‘Friend-zoned’. Right from the movie ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ to ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu (part 1 & 2)’, Bullet Raja, and it’s a never-ending list. He just never seems to get the girl. Most of his films end with him sacrificing the girl, or she ends up choosing someone else over him. Poor Jimmy, we totally feel you!
2. Mayur More – After portraying the role of a studious nerd in ‘Kota Factory’, Mayur More is back in Dice Creator Network Presents An MX Exclusive Series ‘Girlfriend Chor’ – a hatke take on a lovelorn college guy, Akash (essayed by Mayur) who has been friend zoned – again, but decides to go rogue and turn into a Girlfriend Chor to win back his girl. 3. Ranbir Kapoor – We all know where this is headed. Yes, Ranbir Kapoor in the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ made it very clear for all the ‘Friend-zoners’. As the dialogue goes, ‘Pyaar mein junoon hai, par, Dosti main sukoon hai’, a truthful statement, none of the friend-zonees believe in. Depicting a pure state of restlessness and pain, Ranbir Kapoor won the hearts of all those guys & girls out there with his character ‘Ayan’
4. Rahul Khanna – Be it ‘Love Aaj Kal’ or ‘Wake Up Sid’, Rahul Khanna is stood up – be it by his wife or by his date. Poor thing, even after getting married to Deepika Padukone in the famous film ‘Love Aaj Kal’, she leaves him for Saif Ali Khan. Being the understanding friend who he is, he obviously supports her. Don’t we all do that with the ones we truly love? Keeping our love and pain aside, wanting to give them the world? Rahul Khanna, you are a true sweetheart
   1. Jordan Fisher – You might not know him by his real name but definitely by his character name – John Ambrose in ‘To All The Boys: P.S I Still Love You’. Did we not love him in the movie? Gushing over his cuteness and his love for Lara Jean, we all had a thought of them ending up together, didn’t we? Sure, imagination can take many routes but that’s not what happened. Our heart broke a little, too when we saw Lara Jean running away from John Ambrose. Don’t worry John, there’s definitely something better for you!
