Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy hit the right notes with everyone who watched it. While everyone appreciated Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s performance, there was one surprise factor that Zoha threw at us. And we are thankful that she did. Siddhant Chaturvedi’s portrayal of MC Sher in the movie has made him the front-runner out of all the entrants in the new pool of talent that has emerged so far this year. From his passionate performance to his rapping skills, we all will agree that he shone through all the star-studded elements in the film, making him the country’s new blue-eyed wonder-boy. Siddhant has been showered with so much love and appreciation that he is often heard saying publicly how all the attention and praise is overwhelming. We guess the dust has settled and Siddhant is now getting used to his new life of fame. Designer Masaba Gupta and Siddhant were in Goa attending an event when the two started dancing to Nora Fathehi’s Dilbar track spontaneously to a cheering crowd. The normally well put-together Masaba has often been spoken about as a lot of fun by her close friends and we got to see that side of Masaba in the video, which was really refreshing.  When asked by the MC to show some moves, unhesitant, Masaba went right for it, and this girl surely has moves! Siddhant joined Masaba in busting some belly-moves (we give him points for just trying) but girl, Masaba’s hips surely don’t lie.

While we don’t know what Siddhant’s next feature film is, we will be seeing him in the web series Insider Edge Season 2, for which the shooting is ongoing. Masaba Gupta, daughter of veteran actress Neena Gupta, is undoubtedly one of India’s most creative young designers
